Richmond RFC have returned from their annual trip to Bath University and are ready for their opening pre-season friendly against London Scottish on Saturday.
Director of rugby Steve Hill said: “It was a really good few days and the lads worked very hard.
"Being a part-time club means it is very difficult to get the players together for any length of time so this trip to Bath is vital.
"London Scottish is going to be a real test, but we want that test and we have a couple of weeks before the season starts to put things right.”
Richmond open the National League One campaign at Esher on September 7, before a trip to Rosslyn Park the weekend after.
