Rosslyn Park fans face an agonising wait before the defining weekend of the National League One season.

Park have gone toe to toe with professional outfit Doncaster Knights all season and find themselves just three points adrift of their rivals with one game remaining.

However, the two teams take a break this weekend before Knights go to Blackheath and Park host Cinderford the weekend after.

Last Saturday Park ran in 10 tries, including four from wing Tom Howe, to see off already relegated Hull Ionians 60-12.

Doncaster also managed a win, although it only arrived in the 80th minute with a converted try seeing them edge past third-placed Coventry 18-17.

Codling said: “It is bizarre to have a week off and then a one-off game.

“It’s at home, so we can get a big crowd around us, we had a really positive game last time out against Coventry so we’ll be looking for the same again.”

Joining Howe on the scoresheet at Hull were Alex Lundberg, David Vincent, Tom Baldwin, Harry Broadbent, Scott Sneddon and Sam Shires.
