Harlequins full back Mike Brown's double put England on their way to victory over Fiji on the opening day of the Rugby World Cup.
The 30-year-old crossed for a try in each half as England stuttered to a 35-11 Pool A victory on an otherwise disappointing night of rugby.
A penalty try and Brown's first had given England a 15-0 lead before giant winger Nemani Nadolo jumped above Anthony Watson to score in the corner and haul the Fijians back into the game.
George Ford and Nadolo traded penalties before Brown, voted man of the match, added his second and then Billy Vunipola sccored the bonus point fourth at the death as England triumphed by 24 points.
We always knew it was going to be tough first up," he said.
"I just wanted to get my hands on the ball the whole game.
"It was an emotional moment for me, it is a first World Cup for me. It was a dream come true. To cross the whitewash was something special.
"I will always savour that."
Wales are up next for England at Twickenham on September 26.
