Beddington plays CIMA Toronto Major's Cricket team

Beddington Cricket Club recently played the CIMA Toronto Mayor's cricket team at Raynes Park as part of a tour of London through the Cricket Across the Pond (CAP) scholarship programme. Both teams had a good day, with the CIMA Toronto Mayor’s X1 winning the match. Gary Morris was awarded Beddington's best bowler and Anthony Down best batsman of the match.

Beddington CC will be hosting this years NEC (North, East & Central Surrey) colts festivals where up to 10 teams in each of 7 age groups will compete. Matches will take place 3 at a time starting at 10am each day with play going on until approx 6pm, and between 80 and 110 children taking part each day.

Walk to Sutton Community Farm

On Saturday 13 August meet at 10.40 am at Carshalton Station for an easy, 3-4 mile, linear walk to Sutton Community Farm via Carshalton Park. Finish at Heritage Aquatic Centre for lunch/refreshments and take 127 bus back to Carshalton.
