Councillor John Keys switched parties last year
There is no doubt Councillor John Keys' decision to leave the Liberal Democrats and join the Labour Party is totally undemocratic as voters elected him as a Liberal Democrat councillor.
He should have the courage to resign and have a by-election to stand as a Labour party candidate.
It is not only whether Councillor Keys attended the Carshalton Fair peddling political propaganda - but his inability to resolve the 'Beddington Incinerator' issue.
Recently I leafleted Beddington North ward and a number of residents asked - where do the English Democrats stand on this issue?'.
Our policies oppose incinerators and wind farms, that damage the environment and produce little energy.
