A miracle has occurred – Northey Avenue has been resurfaced by Epsom & Ewell Highway Division and is a dream to drive on. Sadly, it stops at the Sutton boundary.
Why on earth could Sutton not liaise with Epsom and complete the resurfacing of the entire avenue.
I suspect the Liberal Democrat council is spending too much money on the mess being created at Sutton station to “improve” the area.
If the improvements turn out to be as bad as those completed near the shops, then we are in for another great disappointment and further wastage of the taxpayers’ monies.
Would anyone care to comment on the above?
