In a recent debate in Parliament on whether or not to upgrade the Trident nuclear weapons system, costing approximately £100bn, only 37 MPs voted to reject the upgrade. 327 MPs voted for it.
With all the cuts in vital services, etc, how many members of the public would agree to spend £100bn on a weapon which, if used, would most probably lead to the end of life on Earth.
How did our local MP vote?
How would our prospective MPs vote?
