Letter to the Editor: An ignorance of journalists?
Please, oh please, look up the definition of collective nouns and make sure they are used in your emails and publications.
Journalists and television presenters seem to be ignorant of their very existence and it drives me insane.
After all, it is their job to use correct and understandable English.
