Letter to the Editor: Proud of Nepal earthquake relief effort
How impressed I was to read about the local fireman who travelled to Nepal to help the poor souls affected by the earthquake (Helping quake-hit survivors in Nepal, May 14).
To leave your loved ones here and travel to the other side of the the world to help those less fortunate than yourself is nothing short of amazing.
As a Sutton resident for many many years you are a true hero Mr Gatfield and I, for one, am very proud of you.
