I have to say that I think that Sutton is the better bet (Sutton ambition queried by rival borough leader, June 4).
I will admit that I lived in Sutton until I was a teenager, which could sway my vote, but I have to say that several points were made that were indeed true.
Its one-way system is much easier to use, there are indeed fewer tower blocks and there are more parks and open spaces, which not only makes it more resident friendly, but visitor friendly too.
Kingston has a one-way system that often reminded me of the Monaco Grand Prix, there are more gaudy looking tower blocks and only one sizable park in the whole town and gives the impression of being overcrowded and generally unfriendly to visitors.
