A team of students from Nonsuch High School recently competed at the national finals of the UK Space Design competition held at Imperial College London. Working in a team of 40 with students from schools around the country competitor had just 24 hours to design a space settlement suitable for asteroid capture and mining in the year 2049, before presenting to a panel of expert judges. Nonsuch High School students were part of the winning team and 3 students were selected to form part of the UK team to compete against the best from around the world at the International Space Design Finals at the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, USA.
