Firefighters have been called to reports of two people on the roof of a popular shopping centre in Sutton.
The incident happened at St Nicholas Shopping Centre in St Nicholas Way just before 7.40pm yesterday (April 3).
Crews used a 32-metre turntable ladder to conduct a search of the roof but no one was found.
The incident was over for crews from Sutton, Croydon and Wimbledon fire stations just before 9.10pm.
We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters responded to reports of two people on the roof of a shopping centre on St Nicholas Way in Sutton.
“Crews used a 32-metre turntable ladder to conduct a search of the roof but found no persons.
“The Brigade was called at 1941 and the incident was over for firefighters at 2109.
“Crews from Sutton, Croydon and Wimbledon fire stations attended the scene. “
