A girl was approached and followed by a man hours after another teen was touched by a middle-aged man riding a skateboard.

From yesterday: Alert: Older skateboarder ''touched 13-year-old Wallington girl", say police

The 15-year-old was walking in Onslow Gardens, Wallington, when a man passed her, turned around and followed her by ducking in and out of garden bushes at about 5pm on Wednesday, police have said.

He walked away towards Stafford Road and only when the girl knew she was not being followed did she make her way home, Sutton police said.

The man did not touch the girl, the force said.

The 15-year-old girl described the man who followed her as being Asian, about 40 years old, with short black hair and a moustache.

He had a red dot on his forehead and was wearing a black T-shirt with blue jeans.

The 13-year-old girl who said she was touched by the man on the skateboard said her 'attacker' was Asian or Arabic, aged between 30 and 40, with a beard and moustache, and wearing dark clothing and a cap.

Police are advising children who are approached by a stranger to make as much noise as possible, run to a safe place, and report what happened to the police.

Anyone with information should call Sutton police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
